Terrific Plant
This is the first Chimera that actually survived for me. It is usually always in bloom and occasionally the blooms lose their distinctive pattern and turn solid. I find that when I repot in fresh soil the blooms start behaving again with the chimera pattern. The flower stems are strong and flowers long blooming. I recommend this one highly.
Prolific Bloomer
My Ness' Dream Maker bloomed soon after I got it and I was at first disappointed in the young blooms. They did not have the distinctive stripes that were shown on the picture but looked nearly solid. But as the blooms matured over the year, the plant is now blooming with the distinct stripes. It has been blooming continuous for over 4 months now, including through a move of 1,200 miles! It holds is blooms high and today has 17 large blooms, but I have had up to 25 at a time. So pretty. I am glad I bought this one. Thanks for including in the description VB that it is in great demand because that is what convinced me to buy it in the first place.
Very forgiving, beautiful foliage
I am new to african violets, and Ness Dream Maker happens to be one of my first plants. I have not been able to get it to bloom yet, unfortunately, but I am confident the blame lies with me and not the plant. The plant is very beautiful and is growing well, just not blooming yet. It is very hardy and forgiving and has survived my attempts to figure out a proper watering routine and also moving to two new apartments within a short period of time. Now that I'm finally settled in my new home and am more competent in regards to proper care, I am excited and hopeful that it will bloom soon! :)
Very, very nice!
I wasn't sure about this at first because the first stripes looked almost orange! However it has two blossoms and they are a deep vivid coral red-pink. This is a very nice chimera!
beautiful?
