Speciosa & Larger growers
Often commonly (and mistakenly) called the "florist gloxinia", these sinningia are characterised by large, showy, blooms. Foliage is also generally thicker, more lush, and typicllay grows in a flatter, more rosette-type form. Young plants can produce a large bloom from a tuber with very few leaves, and mature plants can produce large tubers and massive amounts of bloom.
Actual size will vary depending upon culture and how you choose to grow them. Though the size of the plant (foliage) will not change, the tubers can grow substantially over time. Larger, more mature, tubers can produce multiple shoots (plants) above the soil. Use pots only one size larger than the tuber--do not use pots significantly larger than the tuber!
Photos are representative of mature plants grown to bloom--we cannot promise to ship plants in bloom! Shipped as potted plants with immature tubers or mature tubers with sprouting plants.
All plants shipped in 2" or 2 1/2" pots.
