I've found a new favorite
This little begonia has so much beauty in a tiny package. Red-tinged, slightly shimmering leaves on glowing red stems are the perfect backing for bright, cheerful yellow and orange flowers. It's quite lovely.
Quite an Attention Grabber
I used my B. vankerckhovenii in my terrarium for the Dixie African Violet Convention last fall. I lost count of the number of times people exclaimed over it and asked about it. The plant has required almost no care over the year. It has spread in its terrarium and is 12" in diameter now. It has never once been without a host of bright yellow blossoms.
Utterly charming
The leaves on this plant are so tiny and perfect, and they even have a bit of iridescence to them when the light hits just right. The flowers are adorable, and so bright! They cheer up the whole terrarium. The plant grows very well and stays small, it's a nearly perfect terrarium plant
