Great Little Fern

Just ordered another one. I love all the plants from the Violet Barn. Everything I have received so far has been well packaged and healthy. Angela

Perfect little fern

I’m about to order a third one, I like it so much. It is hard to find ferns that will stay small when planted in a terrarium. This one has a nice bright green color and has delicate fronds, very attractive.

Fluffy Ruffles

Seemingly stays small, with lovely visual impact in a terrarium. Quickly puts out new growth when happy. Handles shipping well.

Beautiful!

A very sweet fern, was ordered for me by my mother as a gift and is still growing strong.

love this one

I bought this one several years ago and have loved it. I'll be ordering more since I love plant groupings with it includes. Honest review.

Long Lived Easy Grower

I ordered Fluffy Ruffles several years ago and planted it in my terrarium. It grew slowly and lived for at least 3-4 years. I goofed up the terrarium and ended up throwing it out before the plant ever died! Fluffy Ruffles is adorable, a nice slow grower and truly the best for any terrarium! Ordering it again.

Cute fern

This is a very cute fern. It covers the pot withy a springy green mass of tiny fronds. It's like a miniature Boston fern but fluffier. The Violet Barn always packs their plants to perfection.

This little fern is great in a terrarium and also in a dish garden. It is the perfect size!

Everyone Wants This One!

This lush little fern is the one everyone wants when they see it in a miniature terrarium. I've made dozens of terrariums for friends at work (and people who see them want then, so...more friends at work). I have to say, I underestimated it, but it is the best--it's bright, it;s not fussy, it grows happily and doesn't drown out the neighbors (although it gets very full, so a trim now and then will be needed). It's also really easy to propagate--gently split the root-ball and voila: another fern. The lacy little frontds are so curly-cute! sorry, I'm gushing. But I've gone through maidenhair ferns (heartbreakers), button ferns (gorgeous but iffy) and a bunch more, and these are the best terrarium miniatures for the money.

Wow

While I love this tiny fern, am stunned at quality packing. Best ever seen.

Lovely plant

I didn't get this plant here, but it's been a good experience. After a year or so of being semi-neglected on my desk I started to let myself get attached, since I somehow hadn't killed it yet. I made my first terrarium, bought it some friends, and now I am obsessed. It's still my favorite plant.

Super cute!

This one is great too. I got one for a big terrarium and as usual it came perfectly healthy and much tinier than I expected since obviously I'm more familiar with big ferns. It fit in just fine and is thriving and pert. Usually I get stingy with plants so I ordered a second one for my dad's Xmas terrarium. It's a nice thick little fern. Everything is doing great and now my dad has green things to look at in winter.

Forgiving and beautiful

I have one of these growing on my desk at work. I've had it for about 3 years and it is a very patient and forgiving fern. It grows well in indirect window light. I try to be regular with waterings but it tolerates my forgetfulness well. I usually water the plant moderately yet evenly across the entire surface of the pot. It has thrived and even started a new copy of itself in the same pot. Poor watering can cause some lacy fronds to go brown and there is no saving that frond once this happens. It stands up to inconsistant care but is so much more beautiful with just some normal TLC.
