Rebel's Splatter Kake

Very pretty, unusual plant.  Large sdbl. pink fluted star with darker eye, purple fantasy streaks, and white-green edge.  Medium green, serrated foliage.  Terrific, often spectacular, standard.  (Bann)  AVSA #8695

Stunning!!!

Gorgeous blooms!! In cooler weather the blooms become even more ruffled and saturated with color. Blooms are very long lasting. Love this violet!!!

Perpetual Marvel

I bought a handful of AV's a few years ago - Rebels Splatter Kake, Rob's Boolaroo and Inquisitive George have prevailed. Always in bloom and ever healthy, all are perpetual favorites. Though I prefer blue, Splatter Kake is an enchantress. It really puts the Marvel in Marvelous. BTW: live in NYC, growing in NW window w/ T5HO grow lamps, & fertilizer. When AV slowed on blooming, replanted w/ stalk buried to the leaves and kept in a plastic bag for 2wks.

Great blooms and foliage

This plant not only has spectacular blooms but it has nice, well behaved foliage. And unlike some fantasy violets who have unattractive sports, this plant sometimes surprises you with Rebel's Night Breezes, another striking plant.

I love this plant!

The blooms on this plant are vibrant and unique. It is the first plant people notice when they see my violets. It blooms well and flowers last a long time. I have had mine for three years and it recently stopped showing the purple fantasy. So I'm buying another. :-)

So Much Fun!!!

This plant is so much fun! It performs so well. But the biggest plus is that when you start a leaf, you are never quite sure what you will get. It is like a surprise package every time you start a new plant. Sometimes they come out exactly like the parent and sometimes completely different. I love this plant!
