Ok what’s wrong?
Got this one on 8/17. I grow all my violets under fluorescent grow lights exclusively. But for some reason this little guy, although gorgeous, with apple green foliage with beautiful healthy leaves has no buds at all. It’s still in the 2” pot that it came in. My other two plants, Ma’s Double Charm I got on 7/6 and on 8/10 they both had a profusion of buds so I transplanted them into 4” azalea pots. Am I just getting too anxious?
Easy to grow and propagate
Gorgeous plant. Very bright red color, becomes darker vine red with age. The edge on flowers has very tiny white line. The color does not fade. The variegation depends on a temperature. Long and heavy bloomer. Each flower lasts about 5-6 weeks. Very easy to grow, easy to propagate from leaves or suckers. Even first bloom - big flowers!! Hard to find in collections. Can make a very good show plant. Saw it on big show in Ukraine. It was very popular there.
Amazing!
I received mine about three weeks ago and it has bloomed a perfect bloom (with more on the way) and is growing completely symmetrical (in my window). Really recommend this one, it's gorgeous! Thanks again Violet Barn!!
