Fluffy white blooms
This plant is very healthy and has gone through it's first bloom cycle. I know sometimes the first cycle can be a bit different than a mature plant but all the flowers are completely white. They are very nicely shaped, as is the plant. I'm hoping the purple/blue color will appear in the next bloom cycle or perhaps when the weather warms up.
A Great "White"
Like the last review, I was disappointed that my plant blooms with pure white blossoms in all seasons. I never thought a white violet was very interesting, but Gisele has changed my mind. It is beautiful when in full bloom -- and it is a good bloomer -- with very large fluffy flowers, and I am enjoying it. I may start a leaf or two and see if some color appears.
Not as expected, but still hoping
Purchased four months ago. Vigorous, strong, and attractive plant; however, the blooms have been solid white, medium size, and plain. No blue shading; NOTHING like the picture! Perhaps as the plant matures and the weather cools this fall, I'll see some color, but a big disappointment thus far.
Very beautiful, a lot of flowers!
This is my first violet, received from Violet Barn. It started blooming soon after potting and it has been blooming since. A lot of flowers and each flower is different - combination of purple and white. The picture above shows only white flower, but actually there is whole range of flowers from white to purple on the same plant. Amazing! I stare at the violet each day after work! Thank you!
