Plant is blooming!
I bought this plant 2 years ago - it was slow going as I was new to Hoyas but this one and three others I got from VB are now blooming! Some are very fragrant. I’m getting another one to add to a bigger pot now.
I so love this plant...
I adore this hoya! I think it was my first one, usually I grow violets. This one has very neat, tidy, delicate branches and it grows VERY fast. I would recommend this to anyone, especially if you love mini plants!
Fantastic Hoya
I have had this plant for several years and now it is in an eight inch hanging basket. It is just about ready to pot it up in the next pot size. I use a self-watering hanging basket and it does great in it. I have it in East light which it seems to thrive in. Definitely worth buying!
Super fast grower!
Received this Hoya a week ago. Very healthy and no damaged leaves. The plant was small which was expected for a 2.5inch pot ( 3stems with about 4-6 leaves on each stem) but boy does this Hoya grow fast! I watered it, gave it its own glass dome to quarantine it, and placed in my greenhouse cabinet under the grow light. It literally DOUBLED IN SIZE in a week and 2 days!!! Such a fast healthy grower!!
Wonderful plant
I just love this one
love!
This has been a really easy, fast-growing hoya, and the ony one I've managed to get to bloom. I highly recommend this hoya, even for beginners.
Beautiful
I've had my Hoyas about a month so it hasn't bloomed yet. But The Barn delivered it quickly. It was, and is healthy. The care instructions are easy to follow and the look beautiful. I'm here to order some moe!
A great favorite
This is a distinctive foliage plant which will cascade from a hanging basket or from a high shelf (and by the way, it will drape down a lot farther than you might guess for a plant that is considered a miniature). Flowers are very pretty and softly fragrant, in my experience. However, my plant is in an office, and it may be more fragrant in the evening than in the day. It is a very easy grower and seems to be perfectly happy in less than perfect conditions. I love the way that it contrasts with so many of the larger-leafed hoyas.
Still going strong
I smelled this plant before I saw it, sitting in the window of an office high up in a building in Portland, OR. This little plant blooms nonstop, it seems to put out blooms from new growth and old growth both! The scent is heavenly & the blooms last a long time.
Love It!
This plant bloomed after about 6 months. It is flourishing and cascading hanging in the window. I love the fragrance, though it's not very strong. I have even ordered another variety. Think I'll take advice and put one in every window. All my plants arrive so healthy!
fragrance!!!
Intensely sweet fragrance! You notice the smell before you even see the beautiful flowers. Recommend this plant if fragrance is what you are looking for.
Miniture Indeed!
If only I had a dollhouse; this would be perfect for it. Looking forward to watching this grow & bloom.
Hoya Bella is My Favorite
I have had this type of Hoya passed down from my Mom for years. It is an easy plant to grow and gives many blossoms as well. The scent is almost as incredible as the flowers!
lanceolata
I've had this same type of plant for the past 25 years. It belonged to my older sister for approx 10 years prior to it becoming handed down to me. It has always bloomed like twice a year with 30 plus blooms all over it since I've owned it. It hangs down approx 3 feet from where it sits. I love it.
Excellent house guest
Hoya lanceolata bella is the perfect house guest! This cascading hoya blooms regularly and appreciates bright, diffused light and being a bit on the cooler side. Don't over water, grow in a well draining mix. She wont vine all over the place but is content to grow in a 4" hanging basket. Hang her up high enough to enjoy her blooms from below.
hoya lanceolata bella
The picture doesn't do this beautiful hanging hoya justice. The clusters are precise with pure white petals and a hard, waxy, star-shaped pink center...beautiful contrast. Very easily develops into a very full plant. Trim a shoot; new ones will sprout where the cut was made. Root what you cut off, and you can pot it too.
