Bristols Grasshopper
Great plant with good foliage and gorgeous flowers.
Very Pretty
This was the first one of this species that I have purchased. It came small, with only a few leaves, and took a while to grow and finally bloom, however, once it bloomed it was SO pretty. Looks just like the picture. The 'yellow' on mine is a bit more 'green' but I like it even better :)
Super cool!
Your breeding programs (with all your plants) are great and seem to be producing some great hybrids! Can’t wait to grow and get more into gesneriads, it seems so exciting!
My first streptocarpus but not my last
I ordered a couple streptocarpuses after reading an article on the Violet Barn site that they are easier to care for than African Violets, which I also have. I'm pleased to say that Bristol's Grasshopper is already starting to bloom for me, and I can't wait to see the buds once they unfurl completely. This won't be my last streptocarpus!

Grasshopper is so pretty, looks just like the photo, and bloomed soon after receiving it.
Bristols Grasshopper
I have this strep and it is such a beauty that I am going to order another one to give as a gift after it has matured a bit! Colors are awesome! I would post a picture but I don't seem to think that I can!
Didn’t work for me
This plant arrived very small and didn’t make it. I have other streps that have done well but I ordered it in early spring and didn’t use express shipping so wondering if it went into shock from the change in temperature and travel. I’ll probably try it again at some point.
Steady grower
They come small- Mine I believe only had 3 leaves but in the 2 months Ive had its been steadily growing and putting out more leaves. Looking forward to the stunning blooms
Beautiful
Grasshopper was one of the last plants I ordered. It is still small but already has a gorgeous bloom. I am looking forward to having multiple blooms once the plant grows. I now have four streps and will be ordering more. Their flowers are stunning. So far of the four I have ordered two have blooms but all have new baby leaves so I know they are happy. So glad I found Violet Barn. Of the 15 plants I have ordered from them I have only had two not make it.
Little But A Beauty
I received Grasshopper as one of my first streptocarpus and now I'm hooked. Its small but a beauty.
Pretty and good bloomer
This adorable plant has not stopped blooming since I received it over a month ago! It has six flowers and two buds emerging right now. The flowers look exactly like the photo. Highly recommended!
