Perfect growing little beauty!
The catalog picture of this adorable plant appealed to me and I must say that the actual plant surpasses the photo. I have mine in a glass bubble as most of my plants, which provides extra humidity and protection from my two feline companions. The red dot is prominent and a nice contrast to the bright green leaves. I am an experienced grower of African violets, but learning with begonias and this one seems to be easy to grow.
Beautiful!
I absolutely adore this plant! It is small, but the pop of red in the center of the leaves is striking! Mine has yet to flower, but I think that's because it needs more sun than its current location. The Violet Barn packs their plants well and takes great care to send quality, healthy plants to their customers. Thank you!
Cute plant
I love begonias. This plant has the cutest leaves!
Great plant
I don't have the greenest thumb in the world and this plant is a survivor! I'm very pleased, and it is super cute.
very cute little begonia
My Begonia Conchifolia Rubrimacula arrived safe and sound. Every leaf and stem was intact. The well-rooted plant had four mature leaves and two baby leaves. Begonia Conchifolia Rubrimacula is native to Costa Rica. It has small, lime green leaves with a red dot, like a bull’s eye, above the junction with the stem. The leaves are peltate, meaning the stem meets the leaf in the center. Altogether, I am very happy with my order, and I’m looking forward to this little plant filling up its container with cute, round, peltate, red-dotted leaves.
Unique and Interesting
Lovely fuzzy rusty red stems ending in shiny leaves with a bright red dot. Arrived in great shape, as did the rest of my order.
Stunning
I planted this in my terrarium less than a year ago, and it is thriving. Since it is a little on the tall side for a miniature (it's about 6 or 7 inches), it makes a stunning center or height piece. This photo doesn't even do it justice.
nice in my terrarium
I placed one of these in my vivarium a couple months ago. It seems to be growing well in those conditions under t5 lighting.
